DIY PINE CONES CHRISTMAS TABLE PLACEHOLDERS

pinecones placeholders diy christmas francinesplaceblog

An easy and quick way to decorate your Christmas table. // Un modo facile e veloce
per decorare la vostra tavola Natalizia.

There's no doubt that Christmas time means not only loads of food and sweets (yay!),
but also tons of decorations. Decorations everywhere and anyway.
Decorations on the doors, on the walls, on the trees and, yes, on your pets the tables.
I'm not a fanatic of decorations overload, but I love decorating the tree and give some
Christmas touch to the house, because Christmas atmosphere is just too beautiful
and a cozy night on the couch, watching a movie, drinking hot cocoa with the
lights of the Christmas tree in the background is pure perfection.
To me, Christmas tree and a beautiful table are the fundamental must-have on winter holidays.
So, for those like me who opt for simplicity but don't want to renounce a decorated table
on Christmas days, here a quick (very quick) and no cost way to give your table
the Christmas/Winter/holiday touch you were looking for on Pinterest (I know you were!).
Perfect also for those who don't have time enough to decorate: this will take you 2 minutes!
No excuses, read below how to.
//
Decorazioni ovunque e comunque.
Decorazioni sulle porte, sui muri, sugli alberi e sì, sui vostri animali sulle vostre tavole.
dell'albero sullo sfondo è pura perfezione.
Niente scuse, leggete sotto.

***

You need // Vi occorre:

- Pine cones (as much as you want or as your guests number). // Pigne (quante ne volete o
tante quanti saranno i vostri ospiti).
- Snow spray and glitters. You can use also silver or golden paint, or whatever you want. Be creative!
// Neve spray e glitter. Potete usare anche vernice argento o oro, o qualsiasi cosa vogliate.
Siate creative!
- Paper, pen, scissors. // Carta, penna, forbici.

(Even for crying wallets! // Anche per portafogli che piangono!)

How to // Come procedere:

1)
Spray the pine cones (better outside or with something like carton to cover your table) with
the snow spray, then add the glitters.

2)
Cut as much little paper rectangles as your guests number. // Tagliate tanti rettangolini
di carta quanti sono gli ospiti.

3)
Write all the names. // Scrivete tutti i nomi.

4)
Insert each name in a pine cone (yeah, it sounds weird but you will understand how easy it is while
doing it).

5)
Voilà! Your table looks so Christmas and if you decorated more pine cones than you needed, you
can use the remainings to decorate your house. 2 DIYs in 1!

  1. I use some as decoration, without the place cards, on my main table. They are so pretty and a DIY you can easily do with a toddler. My daughter loves collecting stuff.
