DIY LACE UP BALLET FLATS

Holidays are ending (only 2 days then...work, ha!) and this is why I fear September so much: coming back to ordinary life and commitments, to the alarm clock (oh my), to all those things that make us wanna go back to sea, sun and no thoughts. Despite all these negative sides, September has also something exciting to me: it's the best time of the year to plan new projects, find new ideas and feel refreshed. This is why I am working on new DIYs and what you see today is the first of them. DIY ballet flats and you're ready to fight the return!

For these lace up ballet flats you'll only need a pair of flats, ribbon and glue.
Yeah, perfect DIY for lazyness post-holidays!
//

***

You need // Vi occorre:

- Flats. // Ballerine.
- 2,5 m (98 in) of ribbon. // 2,5 m di nastro.
- Hot glue (or glue). // Colla a caldo (o colla).

How to // Come procedere:

1)
Cut the ribbon in 4 equal parts. // Tagliate il nastro in 4 parti uguali.

2)
Glue 2 ribbons for each flat, on the right and left internal sides, about 5 cm (1,9 in) from the bottom. //

3)
Voilà!

Now that you are a modern ballerina, you need the right dress to match with your new shoes!
Luckily I can help you finding the right one: I discovered Dressthat and its beautiful dresses.
Look at their homecoming dresses online!
//
I felt in love with these... // Io mi sono innamorata di questi...

So lovely, not? New shoes and new dress and you're ready to go!
Happy September, guys!
//
Adorabili, no? Nuove scarpe e nuovo abito e siete a posto!
Buon Settembre a tutti!
