"HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES" DRAWING

I have this thing with horror movies... Before I met my boyfriend I was scared about

everything and I was still traumatized by "The Ring" (or Bambi's mum's death...).

But he loves horror movies so we started watching them together (I was forced)

and, day by day, they became less scary, so that now, if I have a free evening from

my piano practice, I enjoy a scary film with an ice-cream or bread-and-chocolate (ah!).

As you can see here, here and here, I made drawings for him before (they are

the perfect gift idea: so impressive and forever-lasting), but this time he asked me

a very difficult one: a scene from Rob Zombie's movie

"House of 1000 corpses"

with Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding.

I couldn't say no, so, here the result.

I made it for his last birthday and I finally added a new piece to My Drawings list.

Ho questa cosa con i film horror... Prima di conoscere il mio ragazzo, ero spaventata da tutto

ed ero ancora traumatizzata da "The Ring" (o dalla morte della mamma di Bambi...).

A lui, però, piacciono i film horror, così abbiamo inziato a guardarli insieme (ero costretta)

e pian pianino sono diventati meno spaventosi, tanto che ora, se ho una serata

libera dallo studio del pianoforte, mi godo un bel film horror con gelato o 

pane e cioccolato (ah!).

Come potete vedere qui, qui e qui, ho già fatto dei disegni per lui (sono il regalo di compleanno

perfetto: lasciano il segno e durano per sempre), ma questa volta mi ha chiesto un qualcosa

di un bel po' complicato: una scena dal film di Rob Zombie

"La casa dei 1000 corpi"

con Sid Haig in veste di Capitan Spaulding.

Non ho potuto dire di no, quindi ecco il risultato.

L'ho fatto per il suo scorso compleanno e finalmente ho aggiunto un pezzo nuovo alla

lista dei miei disegni.
