Make marbled coasters in 5 minutes! // Realizzate sottobicchieri marmorizzati in 5 minuti!
I love marble, it's so elegant and timeless.
A simple marble detail can change the whole room.
But let be honest: marble is expensive and unless we are (very) rich we can't cover our house with it (sigh!).
Anyway, there is a way to have your beloved marble object without spending a fortune:
the marbled paper!
because I like too much!
So I use it everytime I can, for these coasters, for example.
Read below how I made them in 5 minutes (really!) and spending only 4 € for the paper.
//

You need // Vi occorre:
You'll only need a piece of cardboard, adhesive marbled paper, scissors, pencil and ruler.
//
Vi servirà solo del cartone, carta marmorizzata adesiva, righello, matita e forbici.
How to // Come procedere:
1)
Draw and cut a squared piece of cardboard with 9 cm (3,5 in) side. // Disegnate e ritagliate
2)
Draw on the back of your paper an other square, 13 cm (5,1 in) side, then cut it. //
3)
Detach the adhesive paper, then place the cardboard so that each angle of the little square
is on the half of one side of the bigger one.
4)
Fold the angles and paste them on the carton. // Piegate gli angoli ed attaccateli sul cartone.
5)
Et voilà! You have done! // Et voilà, avete fatto!
Perfect for your next weekend or your Easter table :) //

DeleteYES! This is fantastic. I've been wanting some for myself but don't feel like spending too much money (especially since I know these will start feeling dated soon enough)
