Few days ago I was cleaning out my closet and I found a pair of old jeans I did not even remember about (same feeling as when you find 10 € in pants pockets). Looking at them I decided that a little refresh was not only necessary but could also become a funny way to spend a rainy weekend afternoon. And so I did. I added some pearls as the season trend wants and they look so pretty now!
This is one of those DIYs with the minimum effort but a big wow factor.
You only need some thread and pearls (and bit of patience!) and
your old denim will look like this at the end!
//
***
You need // Vi occorre:
- A pair of jeans. // Un paio di jeans.
- Some plastic holed pearls. // Delle perle di plastica.
- Needle and thread. // Ago e filo.
How to // Come procedere:
If you prefer, you can sign with a chalk the points where you'll sew the pearls,
or you can directly sew them to the fabric. Hand-sew as much pearls as you want,
mixing dimensions (if you prefer) and choosing where you want them.
There's no a rule to make it, just be creative!
It will take a bit but it will be totally worth it!
//
Cucitene a mano quante volete,
P.S. If you're not sew-confident, read here how to make the basic
knot and have fun with this DIY! Nobody was born taught!
//
Nessuno nasce esperto!
