DIY PERFUME BOTTLE AS FLOWERS VASE

perfume vase flowers diy francinesplaceblog

Awww, flowers!
There is nothing better to transform a sad, grey, Autumn day in a positive and colored one.
It is getting so freezing here and I decided to warm up our home with a new bunch of flowers.
I showed you here in past how to display your flowers in marbled diy jars or in little pots, today
I want to share a super easy, but also so classy way to add a flowered touch to your home.
I looked for some inspirations on BloomNation, a flower delivery service that supports
local florists through their online marketplace, their site is full of gorgeous flowers projects
(check it out!), then I opted for some fresh flowers directly from my family's garden.
Lavender, Abelia (white flowers), Jacobaea maritima (yellow) and Ajuba Reptans (blue)
for a delicate and simple outcome.
I decided to use an empty bottle of perfume as vase, because I know that it is always hard
throwing them away when the perfume is finished (they are TOO pretty to be thrown away, not?).
Let's see below how to do, even if it is so easy to understand.

//

Oh, fiori!

***

You need // Vi occorre:

- An empty perfume bottle. // Una bottiglia di profumo vuota.
- Pliers. // Pinze.
- Scissors. // Forbici.
- Your favourite flowers. // I vostri fiori preferiti.

How to // Come procedere:

1)
Using the pliers, remove the hermetic closing of the bottle, then wash it well to remove
perfume residuals. When done, add some water.

2)
Cut the stalks of your flowers and insert them as you like most. // Tagliate i gambi

3)
Voilà! Your perfume vase is done! I really love the sophisticated touch that it gives to the room. //

  11. What a beautiful idea to recycle perfume bottles for an even prettier cause! I also hate throwing away such pretty bottles, so this would be a way of keeping them around for longer :)
