Neoprene is becoming something I can't get enough and this means thaaat you are going to
see different projects here, made with this amazing material.
It is cheap, easy to use and suitable for various diys.
And I like it in soft pink, so get use to see it in almost only this colour (haha!).
Really, what better for a lazy Saturday afternoon than making a cute new bracelet in
about 2 minutes and showing it off on your night out? Yes.
Oh, and with a ridiculously low-but-seemingly-notsolow-cost.
I don't need to add more.
//
***
You need // Vi occorre:
- 3 neoprene bands, one as long as your wrist circumference and 4 cm (1,5 in) width,
the other two always with same width, but 12 cm (4,7 in) and 6 cm (2,3 in) length.
- Multihole punch. // Fustellatrice.
- Pliers. // Pinze.
- A snap-hook. // Un moschettone.
- One rivet. // Un rivetto.
- 2 cm (0,7 in) of chain // 2 cm di catenina.
How to // Come procedere:
1)
Make two holes in the band (that as long as your wrist circumference), one for each short side. //
ogni lato corto.
2)
Using the pliers, attach one ring of the chain at one hole, then add the snap-hook. To the
other hole, add the remaining piece of chain.
3)
Make a hole in the middle of your band bracelet, then insert the long rivet piece. // Fate
4)
Create a bow using the other two pieces of neoprene: fold and pinch the longest in a
8 shape, then wrap the shortest one around it.
5)
Always keeping the bow pinched, make a hole in the middle of it. // Sempre
6)
Insert the bow in the rivet and close it. Voilà! // Infilate il fiocco nel rivetto e chiudetelo. Voilà!
Easy, not? Have a nice weekend! // Facile, no? Buon weekend!

Thank you, Gabrielle! I buy everything in 2 shops near my city, they sell all for bijoux-making and creative things. But there are also a lot of online shops where you can find this stuff! Or, at least, sometimes I recycle old (that I don't wear anymore) bijoux, break them and re-use their parts ;)
