2 DIY MODERN ACCESSORIES FOR YOUR SIDE TABLE

First, let me thank you for all the comments to my previous post: I'm working to make all your ideas come true! You are the best! Now, coming back to the post...I'm totally into interiors at the moment. Maybe because we are thinking about our new house and all the renovation things and I'm spending time to imagine the best decors, furnitures, solutions. How fun! This is why it came so easy to me creating two golden, glam accessories for all you who want to add a modern touch to a side table. Looking luxurious spending almost nothing! Is there something better, interiors talking? // Innanzitutto lasciatemi dire grazie per tutti i commenti che avete lasciato al precedente post: sto lavorando per rendere le vostre idee concrete! Siete fantastiche! Ora, tornando a noi...Sono totalmente nel periodo arredamento, ultimamente. Sarà perché stiamo pensando alla nostra nuova casa e alle ristrutturazioni e sto immaginando le decorazioni migliori, i mobili, le soluzioni. Adoro! Ecco perché mi è venuto davvero facile realizzare due stilosi accessori dorati per chiunque di voi volesse dare un tocco moderno al proprio tavolino da salotto. Sembrare costoso e costare quasi nulla. C'è qualcosa di meglio, parlando di interni?

This is for all of you who asked for home/decor DIYs!
Finding design accessories for a side table seems easy, but it's not.

If we are looking for something glam and beautiful, it will probably

be expensive as hell! Not the best option for somehing almost useless. 

This is why I opted for a DIY version of two modern accessories I've seen

around. It will take you few minutes to make them and yes, they

will look so bought at the end!

Questo è per quelle di voi che chiedevano faidate casa/decor!
Trovare i giusti accessori di design per il proprio tavolino da sala sembra facile,

ma non lo è. Se stiamo cercando qualcosa di bello e originale, quasi

sicuramente sarà dannatamente costoso! Non l'opzione migliore per qualcosa

che è quasi inutile.

Ecco perché ho optato per la versione fai da te di due accessori moderni che

ho visto in giro. Vi ruberanno poco tempo e sì, sembreranno davvero comprati!

You need // Vi occorre:

- Two polystyrene balls. // Due palline di polistirolo.

- Chopsticks. // Bastoncini di legno da cucina.

- Cutter. // Taglierino.

- A little jar. // Barattolino di vetro.

- Gold paint spray. // Vernice oro spray.

How to // Come procedere:

1)

DIY BRASS URCHIN // BRASS URCHIN FAI DA TE

Cut one ball in half then stick one half with all the chopsticks to create the 

hedgehog shape. Spray the golden paint and you're done!

Tagliate una delle due palline a metà, poi infilzatela con i bastoncini per creare

la forma del riccio. Spruzzate la vernice oro e avete fatto!

2)

DIY GEOMETRIC VASE // VASO GEOMETRICO FAI DA TE

Use the cutter to make a hole in the middle of the ball so that you can easily insert

the jar. Then cut the ball to create the geometric shape you prefer and don't forget

to smooth the bottom or the vase won't stand! Paint it and add water and flowers. Voilà! //

Usate il taglierino per creare un buco nel mezzo della palla così da infilarci

il vasetto. Poi tagliate la superficie in modo da dargli la forma geometrica che preferite

e non dimenticatevi il fondo o il vaso non starà in piedi! Verniciate e 

aggiungete acqua e fiori. Voilà!
