Back home after beautiful days away, I'm definitely not ready for coming back to work tomorrow (I mean...who could be?). Buuut today is holiday here in Italy, so I want to show you a quick and nice DIY I made some time ago, right for the middle season (read= when you don't know what to wear). Adding a simple buckle to an oversized sweater is the key to make it look unique and cool. Continue reading to see more!
I like oversized sweaters, but sometimes
they need a little refresh if we want to avoid a shabby and too cozy look.
This is why I decided to add a buckle on its neck, to make it look modern
and up to date, perfect for these Spring days, with a pair of skinny jeans
or as a dress if weather is warmer.
//
***
You need // Vi occorre:
- Oversized sweater. // Maglione oversize.
- A buckle from a belt you no longer use.
- Needle and thread. // Ago e filo.
How to // Come procedere:
You just need to sew the buckle to your sweater (choose the right height,
so that the buckle can fit it perfectly) and you're already done!
I told you it was quick!
I've been looking around for a buckle sweater for months,
then I opted for the DIY version and I couldn't be more satisfied!
//
Happy May! // Felice Maggio!
