ITALIAN APERITIF: BELLINI AND ROSSINI COCKTAILS

aperitif bellini rossini cocktail recipe

There is nothing better than spending your Saturday night with people you love and, if
it is accompanied by a fresh cocktail... it is just perfection.
Here in Italy we love so much happyhour moment and the King of happyhours is,
of course, our Prosecco wine.
I mean, enjoying a glass of Prosecco while talking and waiting for dinner is the best
way to leave all your week thoughts outside and to feel like on holiday.
Yesterday I celebrated with my family my brother's 15th birthday, so I decided
to prepare myself the drinks and I opted for two famous Italian cocktail, perfect
for warm days and relaxing moments: the Bellini and the Rossini.
The nice thing is that these two cocktails are not only delicious, but also not too alcohol
and, girls, low calories!
Of course, if you drink 5 glasses it is not the best for your health, but if you will
enjoy one (or two!) of these you won't have to run the next day because of your guilt.
Let's see together how to prepare the Bellini and the Rossini cocktails!

//

sentirsi come in vacanza.

Time // Tempo:

10 minutes. // 10 minuti.

Difficulty // Difficoltà:
Super easy. // Super facile.

Ingredients // Ingredienti:
- Prosecco wine (cold, so you will put it off the fridge only at guests' arrival). //
- Strawberries (one bowl). // Fragole (una vaschetta).
- 4 or 5 peaches. // 4 or 5 pesche.
- 2 bowls. // 2 ciotole.
- Blender. // Frullatore.
- Flutes. // Calici.

How to // Come procedere:

1)
Clean the fruit and remove pits from peaches, then cut fruit grossly. // Pulire la frutta
e rimuovere i noccioli dalle pesche, poi tagliare la frutta grossolanamente.

2)
Blend the strawberries and pour the juice in one of the two bowls. The original recipe
doesn't want the blender, but hand-crushing, I had few time and opted for practicality. Feel free
to try out the way you prefer!
a mano.

3)
Repeat with the peaches. // Ripetete con le pesche.

4)
Prepare the flutes and two spoons on the table. // Mettete a tavola i flute e due cucchiai.

And wait for your guests taking photos (haha!). // Ed aspettate gli ospiti facendo
qualche fotografia (ahah!).

5)
Once your guests are arrived, take the Prosecco and the bowls. Start pouring Prosecco
in all the glasses, then the peaches and strawberries juices, separately. The proportion is:
2/3 Prosecco, 1/3 juice. Now blend, DELICATELY.
2/3 Prosecco, 1/3 succo. Ora mescolate, DELICATAMENTE.

  1. I've actually only had a jelly bean that was supposed to taste of peach bellini before which was quite tasty already, so I can only imagine how good the real thing would taste ^_^
