DIY NEOPRENE BOW SHOES FOR MY #ULTIMATEVEGASOUTFIT

Bows and heels: a pretty combination, especially if DIY! // Fiocchi e tacchi:

When it comes to bows I usually feel uncertain: yes, or not?
Don't misunderstand, I like bows, but sometimes, on an outfit, they can give
a too girly look, don't they?
It's all about how we match them and how many bows we wear.
I found myself looking at bow shoes photos lately and I must say that I like them!
A bow detail on a classic look is pretty and not-too-much, so I decided to
make myself two bows for my pumps.
The nice thing is that they are removable, so I can wear them or not depending on
my girly-mood percentage of the day!
I used neoprene, so you won't need to sew. They are SO easy to make, give you a chance!

//

No?

***

 You need // Vi occorre:

- Your pumps (choose a pair with ankle bands or something you'll be able to add bows to). //
- A piece of neoprene. // Un pezzo di neoprene.
- Multi hole punch. // Pinza fustellatrice.
- 2 rivets. // 2 rivetti.
- Scissors. // Forbici.

How to // Come procedere:

1)
Cut 2 pieces of neoprene 24 cm (9,4 in) x 3 cm (1,1 in), then cut another piece, 10 cm (3,9 in) x 3 cm
(1,1 in). // Tagliate 2 pezzi di neoprene, 24 x 3 cm e uno più piccolo, 10 x 3 cm.

2)
Fold the longest pieces in half and superimpose them, in order to make a cross. //

3)
With the multi hole punch, make a hole in the centre of the cross.

4)
Make a circle with the little piece of neoprene, superimpose the extremities
of about one centimeter, then make a hole as you see in photo.

5)
Insert the rivet, from the circle, to the cross and close it. The first bow is ready.
Now repeat from 1 to 5 to make the second one.

6)
Insert the bands of your shoes in the neoprene circles you made and voilà!

 So pretty, eh?
Few days ago I was asked by Vegas.com to create a look inspired by Las Vegas.
I found it so funny and couldn't say no.
So, I imagined myself having a cocktail at the Lily Bar of Bellagio or dining
at Blossom in the Aria Resort & Casino and decided that these bow shoes
could be perfect for it.
If you want to be inspired too (and maybe plan a stay), check all the resorts here.
I leave you with my #UltimateVegasOutfit.
Hope you will like it!
//
Carine, eh?
Ho trovato l'idea molto divertente e non ho saputo dire no.
con fiocco sarebbero state perfette.

  37. I love these! Great job on them and they look great with your dress! I like bows sometimes and sometimes I don't. I think a dramatic bow is best if you do one, so at least you are making a major statement. Your shoes make the perfect statement here! Hope you will stop by my blog if you have time. Have a nice day!
