HELLO SEPTEMBER: SOME THOUGHTS + FREE PRINTABLE TO DO LIST!

Hello September! Every year this time I have the same mix of feelings: a bit (a bit...ahem...a lot) sad for the end of the holidays and excited for what's coming next. Yes, September is with no doubt a favourite month to me and I prefer planning new projects and set new goals during this time of the year rather than the 31st of December. This is why I created a little printable to do list for me and for you, to help us re-starting at our best! // Ciao Settembre! Ogni anno, in questo momento, provo le stesse cose: un po' (un po'...ehm...un sacco) di tristezza per la fine delle vacanze ed impazienza per ciò che accadrà. Già, perché per me Settembre è senza dubbio un mese stupendo ed io preferisco darmi nuovi obiettivi e fissare nuovi progetti adesso, piuttosto che il 31 Dicembre. Ecco perché ho creato una piccola lista di cose da fare per me e per voi, per aiutarci a riprendere alla grande!

DIY BASICS: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE HERE?

Months ago I asked you which DIY projects you would like to see on Francine's Place Blog and I'm still so happy for all the answers I got! I'm trying to follow all your suggestions, meanwhile I'm here to ask you the same, but for my DIY BASICS section: is there something you'd like to learn from this blog about sewing, crafting, finding materials etc? I'm not a DIY omniscient, but I'll do my best to help you in your creative moments! // Mesi fa vi ho chiesto quali progetti fai da te avreste voluto vedere su Francine's Place Blog e sono ancora super contenta per tutte le risposte ricevute! Sto provando a seguire tutti i vostri consigli, nel frattempo sono qui per chiedervi la stessa cosa, ma riguardo alla sezione DIY BASICS: c'è qualcosa che vorreste imparare in questo blog riguardo a cucito, fai da te, ricerca materiali ecc? Non sono onnisciente, ma sarò più che felice di aiutarvi nei vostri momenti creativi!

Who's still at the beach? Lucky you! Really. This Summer, at stake with the renovation of our new house, we haven't had the opportunity to leave for a real vacay. I mean, being at home doing nothing all day is itself a vacay, but you know...the sand, the sea, etc...You got it. Hoping for a weekend away asap, I want to show you a project I made few days ago to spice up my August plans: a satin tube top that's already a favourite in my closet. Cause creativity never goes on holiday! // Chi è ancora in spiaggia? Fortunate voi! Davvero. Quest'Estate, con la ristrutturazione della casa nuova in ballo, non siamo riusciti a partire per una vera vacanza. Insomma, stare a casa tutto il giorno a fare niente è già di per sé vacanza, ma sapete...la sabbia, il mare, ecc...Ecco. Sperando in un weekend via il prima possibile, vi voglio mostrare ciò che ho realizzato pochi giorni fa per dare una botta di vita ai miei programmi d'Agosto: un top in raso, che è già un preferito nel mio armadio. Perché la creatività non va mai in vacanza!
