DIY LAVENDER PERFUMED BAGS

Lavender is one of those plants I'd cover my whole garden with.

The smell it realeases is incredible and gives to the start of summer something really special and unique.

I'm not a fan of chemical perfumes we can find everywhere, I used to buy them (or especially receive as a gift), but now I prefer the natural ones, which emanate delicate flowers essence.

Here I show you a way to perfume your drawers and have linen and clothes always perfumed, with a fresh-summer-touch.

La lavanda è una di quelle piante che userei per coprire il mio intero giardino.

L'odore che sprigiona è incredibile e dà all'inizio dell'estate un qualcosa di speciale ed unico.

Non sono una fan dei profumi chimici che possiamo trovare ovunque, un tempo li compravo (o soprattutto, me li regalavano), ma adesso preferisco quelli naturali, che rilasciano un'essenza delicata di fiori.

Qui vi mostro un modo per profumare i vostri cassetti ed avere biancheria e vestiti sempre profumati e con un tocco fresco d'estate.

You need // Vi occorre:

- A bunch of desiccated lavender. I had some apart, if you don't, you have to dry it up. Start picking it up in June, when the perfume is at its top, but paying attention to cut the entire stalks, not only the flowers. Let your bunch rest in a shaded place upside down, for about 6-7 days. (P.S. The blueberry snack is not necessary for the purpose, but it was sooo good! I couldn't resist haha!). // Un mazzo di lavanda essiccata. Io ne avevo un po' da parte, se voi no, dovete farla seccare. Cominciate cogliendola in Giugno, quando il profumo è al suo picco massimo, ma stando attenti a tagliare l'intero gambo, non solo i fiori. Lasciate riposare il vostro mazzolino in un luogo all'ombra a testa in giù per 6-7 giorni circa. (P.S. La merenda ai mirtilli non è necessaria al raggiungimento dell'obiettivo, ma era così buooona! Non potevo resistere ahah!)

- A plate. // Un piattino.

- Little fabric bag. // Sacchettini in tessuto.

How to // Come procedere:

1)

Separate the flowers from their stalks and cruble them in your plate. // Separate i fiori dai loro gambi e sbriciolateli nel vostro piattino.

2)

Fill up the bags with a handful of these scented beauties. // Riempite i sacchettini con una manciata di queste bellezze profumate.

3)

Et voilà! Three cute perfumed pastel bags! // Et voilà! Tre carinissimi sacchettini profumati color pastello!
