DIY ROPE KNOT BELT

rope knot belt diy cintura

It's getting warmer here, SO warmer and I was not prepared.
I mean, dear weather, when should I wear my diy overcoat cape? Or my light jackets?
I can't move from winter coat to t-shirt in about two days!
Luckily there is something I can wear every time I want: my belts.
Aaand, nothing better then a rope belt for Spring-Summer seasons, with that navy look
we all love so much because it reminds us to holiday times.
It is very very easy to make and it matches everything you have in your closet. Yay!

//

Yee!

You need // Vi occorre:

- Rope (measure your waist and add about 15 cm/5,9 in). // Corda (misurate la vostra vita ed
aggiungete circa 15 cm).
- About 10 cm (3,9 in) chain. // Circa 10 cm di catena.
- Snap-hook. // Moschettone.
- Two tacks for jewelry. // Due chiodini per bigiotteria.
- Two end caps or small cups for jewelry. //  Due copricorda o coppette per bigiotteria.
- Pliers. // Pinze.
- Adhesive tape. // Nastro adesivo.
- Scissors. // Forbici.
- Hot glue. // Colla a caldo.

How to // Come procedere:

1)
Take the rope and make a savoy knot. Fix rope's extremities with some adhesive tape. //

2)
Insert the tacks into the end caps. // Infilate i chiodini nei copricorda.

3)
Paste rope's extremities to the end caps with hot glue and let it dry.

4)
Cut the tacks about 8 mm (0,3 in). // Tagliate i chiodini così che misurino circa 8 mm.

5)
Divide the chain in two parts with your pliers and insert the snap-hook in a last ring. //

6)
Insert one chain for each nail, then make two rings with the pliers to close the nails. //

7)
Et voilà! Your belt is ready! // Et voilà! La vostra contura è pronta!
